The plugin has no dependencies – aka bloat – and is written in vanilla JS – finally! – and is only loaded on the pages where it is used. So it is sufficiently optimised – which has become a rarity in itself. There are plenty of settings available and it looks really solid and efficient. If I had to point out one flaw, it would be that it does not use an some established and tested small JS slider library, but is custom developed. However, it seems to be small and efficient, and most importantly – has no dependencies. The only thing I have not figured out is how to use the multi-page slider and if it is even possible – for purposes such as a logo slider and the like.

I recently changes all my website to a block theme. All went very well, but a good image / content slider was missing. After searching i saw this Super Block Slider. From the beginning I loved it, because it has ll features I was looking for and I has minimal impact on pagespeed.I has a very tiny javascript file, what has minimal impact on pagespeed. After asking for passive listener implementation on the script it took no more than half a day before it was implemented.Michael, i really appreciate your work!

As said in the title, I’m yet to use this plugin extensively. That being said, I am really impressed and very grateful to the care and attention that has gone into this block. It is truly a piece of art. It respects the hard work WP and it’s community have put into to block editor and it respects us users by giving us a perfect solution.
